In this episode of "Lead with the Enneagram," host I discuss the importance of having a support system and community in our lives. Building a support system can be challenging, especially for introverts like me. However, I stress the significance of having people around us who can love us, hold us accountable, and help us achieve our goals.
The episode also delves into the concept of vulnerability and the fear associated with it. I emphasize the importance of being vulnerable and exposing our weaknesses in order to receive the support we need. I discuss the difference between transparency and vulnerability, highlighting the need for real-time vulnerability where we share our current struggles and ask for help.
I also touch on the clutter that can exist in our relationships and the need to clear the path for the kind of support we desire. I share how I have had to end friendships to make room for new, supportive relationships. I encourage you to assess their own relationships and determine if they are hindering or supporting their growth.
