David Bassitt started his career in sales in elementary school when he offered cookies to shoppers in his father’s department store.
He went on to develop markets to sell tank trailers for the Butler Manufacturing Company and trained employees how to sell at Advanced Machine Company. He worked at Honeywell International Inc. selling mainframe computers, and the Dyco Petroleum Corporation where he sold limited partnerships through broker dealerships.
Eventually, he joined Carnegie Capital Asset Management LLC, where he represented mutual funds, and sold limited partnerships to oil and gas companies through Dain Bosworth Inc. At Piper Trust, he offered trust services to financial brokers at Piper Jaffray Companies. After a stint at AEI Fund Management, helping them raise money in real estate, he became managing director with Inland Real Estate Chicago.
Today he consults, coaches, and trains sales organizations and sales professionals how to tap into the power of orange to grow their business and their clientele.
