It’s been so hard to sleep these last few days. All I can hear, when I close my eyes, is the clock ticking down. I can tell that Ada and We Are All In The Gutter are worried about me, but I need to focus. I had to move my lab off-site. It seems like others had trouble finding this place. Mixing this energy with my other work has proven fruitful. It’s versatile in ways just plain flesh isn’t, so long as I can keep up the shipments of new specimens. The fey creatures are proving to be wonderful canvases on which to work, and the delivery drivers are a great source of raw materials.

The team prepares for dinner. Just a regular, not-with-an-antagonistic-god kind of dinner. Everyone will be on their best behavior, and not a single outburst will happen.
