(00:00-27:26) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison debating who the Indianapolis Colts rival is now with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady gone from New England. They additionally look at some of the Wild Card Playoff matchups that are coming this weekend.
(27:26-41:18) – In the opening segment of the show, Jake and Jimmy highlighted the AFC playoff games and issued them a star rating. They do the same thing now with the NFC playoff games. This leads to a debate between Jake and Jimmy.
(41:18-45:48) – Hour one concludes with Jake quizzing Jimmy and Eddie what division NBA teams are in because of how irrelevant divisions are now in the NBA.
(45:48-1:13:47) – Sports Illustrated NFL writer Matt Verderame joins Query & Company to preview this weekend’s NFL Wild Card playoff matchups, weighs in on the debate between the Buccaneers/Eagles and Steelers/Bills that Jake and Jimmy had, accesses what the Indianapolis Colts need to do this offseason to help build around Anthony Richardson, why he was impressed with the Colts when he stopped by Indianapolis during training camp, and reveals which positions are deep with talent in free agency along with which positions don’t have a lot of talent.
(1:13:47-1:26:23) – With the Pacers starting their road trip tonight in Atlanta, Jake and Jimmy share some of the things that they want to see from the team without Tyrese Haliburton during this road trip. They also detail what kind of record they want the team to have during this important stretch without their best player.
(1:26:23-1:32:29) – The one o’clock hour concludes with the Jake talking about some of the trolls that are in his mentions. Plus, he asks for the coldest temperatures in the Ice Bowl and Freezer Bowl because he feels like the temperatures drop by 20 degrees each year.
(1:32:29-1:59:53) – Co-host of the Wake Up Call with KB & Andy in Kevin Bowen joins Jake and Jimmy to share his thoughts of what Chris Ballard said yesterday in comparison to a year ago, if he thinks the signing of Matt Gay was a failure based off of him being one of the worst kickers in percentage, accesses how much he thinks it will cost the Colts to retain Kenny Moore, shares what kind of approach Chris Ballard will have this go around in free agency, and examines this weekend’s playoff games.
(1:59:53-2:10:58) – During our conversation with KB, it was announced that Washington’s Kalen DeBoer will be leaving the Huskies program to replace Nick Saban at Alabama. They wonder if DeBoer was the Crimson Tide’s first choice and try to decipher why he would leave Washington after building up the program to a championship level in just two years.
(2:10:58-2:19:10) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day, and JMV hopping on for a couple minutes to share his thoughts on the Wild Card matchups this weekend and explaining why he doesn’t like Arrowhead Stadium.
