Dr. Flavia Fayet-Moore is the visionary behind FOODiQ Global and a co-founder of Food is Cool. Renowned for her dynamic speaking skills, she effortlessly employs space analogies to make scientific concepts accessible and enjoyable. Originating from Brazil, raised in Canada, and refined in Australia, she is a scientist, dietitian, space nutritionist, and entrepreneur, reshaping the landscape of her field.
Having earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto, Dr. Fayet-Moore further distinguished herself by obtaining a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as a PhD in nutrition from the University of Sydney. She is also a fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and an Adjunct Lecturer at Newcastle University. Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first internationally board-certified dietitian in Lifestyle Medicine in Australia and has participated in the Space Studies Program at the International Space University.
