Our guest for this episode is someone whose tenacity and ingenuity helped them overcome a big personal hurdle, but also helped them take on a challenge to help other Australians as well. Ashton Wood runs DV Safe phone, a charity that gets safe phones into the hands of domestic violence survivors AND he has also lobbied to change the Australian Consumer Law to better protect new car buyers in Australia. With no formal training or experience in Consumer Laws or domestic violence his attitude is “if not me, then who?”
