This episode is a step back in time, 1908 to be precise, giving us a look into how murders were investigated before DNA, CCTV, even fingerprinting came into being. Hazel Drew, a beautiful woman who had just turned 18, went missing on a July day. Several days later, her body was found floating in Teal’s Pond in Sand Lake, New York. Her murder remains unsolved to this day.
Join us at the quiet end for Who Killed Hazel Drew? As we discuss the investigation and how to solve the mystery of Hazel’s murder, we’re confronted with the possibilities of a dysfunctional inquiry with investigators who were more focused on protecting the guilty than getting justice for the victim.
