How Miami Signee Booker Pickett Jr Rose Up The Rankings, Miami Signs Top DL Class, Greentree Tales

Miami Hurricanes defensive end signee Booker Pickett Jr. was among the top risers in the 247Sports final rankings for the Class of 2024. Pickett was previously outside the Top247 and finished at number 143 in the nation. Pickett was impressive in the Under Armour All American game and the Polynesian Bowl earlier this month, recording 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and an interception. 

Booker’s father, Booker Pickett Sr, joins host Alex Donno and “The Truth Teller” Bruce Warner to recap his son’s recruiting process and the type of impact head coach Mario Cristobal and defensive line coach Jason Taylor had on Pickett’s recruitment. Pickett Sr. also played at Miami in the 1990’s. He recapped his best memories from the Greentree Practice fields.
