Ultra Naté, born March 20, 1968, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, is a highly accomplished American singer, songwriter, DJ, and label owner who has made a significant contribution to the dance and electronic music scenes.

In the early stages of her career, Ultra Naté, recognised for her distinctive voice, blending soulful tones with infectious energy, gained recognition with her house record releases - her breakthrough single "It's Over Now" was in 1990. She gained international recognition with hits like "Free" and "If You Could Read My Mind," showcasing her versatility as an artist.
Today, she continues to release music, DJ and support LGBTQIA rights. Her latest album Ultra Deluxe contains the recent single “UNBREAKABLE”, a love letter to the LGBTQIA community.
And the launch of the interview coincides with the release of her reimagined 90's track "Party Girl" with KIMMIC, the original from the classic "Party Girl" movie with Parker Posey.
