The VFTF have made a January signing of their own and their newest panelist Matt is straight in at the deep end to help Chris and Steve dissect the disappointing Tranmere defeat. With just 2 days left before the transfer window slams shut the guys then go on to discuss the areas of the squad in most urgent need of bolstering, three players that departed the club this week and former manager Paul Hurst’s re-emergence at Shrewsbury. They finish the show by previewing next weekend’s trip to Accrington and reminisce of Matt’s time as Sports Editor at the Grimsby Telegraph… Which may or may not include an anecdote involving Chris Doig chasing him across a car park in Maccesfield!
