The Miami Hurricanes have signed their best recruiting class in at least 16 years and several of their true freshmen have enrolled early. Players like Joshisa Trader, Zaquan Patterson, Chris Wheatley-Humphrey and Judd Anderson are already impressing the football staff in their offseason workouts. Last year, four Miami true freshmen earned starting jobs throughout the season: offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa, defensive end Rueben Bain, running back Mark Fletcher and punter Dylan Joyce.
