Single letters with 0.6 seconds of pause before the answer is spoken. There is just enough time to say the letter out loud with ICR (Instant Character Recognition). First, each letter is sent in Morse code. Then it is spoken. And finally, it sent again in Morse code. If you missed something the first time when it was sent, the second time allows you an opportunity to learn it.
