This series discusses some things our families find hard to open up with others about that we fear sharing with others for various reasons.
This episode takes us behind closed doors to talk about something that affects many families in our community: aggression. There's a hidden shame that goes along with aggression. Please take a seat at the table as we openly discuss how this has affected our families. It was not an easy conversation to have. We try to share as much as possible from our five different perspectives about what these topics look like in our homes.
Reported prevalences of aggression in ASD are 35-50%.
*This might trigger some feelings if you have dealt with aggression in your home.*
