Hunting and Eating are the easy parts. Lifting and the physical fitness side is the one where we all tend to struggle and always need a kick in the ass to get going and stay motivated.
This week Carter and Luke are joined by Josh Ragland. Joshua Ragland is originally from Memphis, TN. Grew up playing sports and adventuring outside. Fell in love with training and hunting about the same time in middle school. Played football at the University of Central Arkansas and began personal training in college alongside my strength and conditioning coach.
Josh went to grad school and got a masters of science in kinesiology. Following graduation he worked several years as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer at several venues, eventually leading to the formation of a body building team he lead for 5 years.
He now trains friends and referrals in his garage gym, primarily in lifestyle improvement and general strength training. Josh has also written training protocols for various friends and acquaintances who want to prepare for western backpack hunts.
Josh has a wife (Kimberly) and a son (Joshua Wayne). They live in St Louis, MO and love to hunt and train as a family!
