As we explore the Manfreds compilation ‘Hits From The Sixties,’ Tom discusses the role of chance, with hits like ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy’, ‘Pretty Flamingo’ and ‘Mighty Quinn’ coming about partly by luck.
