Alabama Loses OC Ryan Grubb to NFL Before He Coaches a Game, Who Should the Tide Target at OC?

Before he even coaches a game, Alabama loses new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb to the NFL as he become the OC for the Seattle Seahawks. Grubb was seen recruiting for the Tide the past few weeks, but in the end he gets to remain in Seattle with his family. Reports also say that offensive line coach Scott Huff will follow him to the Seahawks, which leaves two big holes for new head coach Kalen DeBoer at Bama.

So where does the Tide go from here? They could stay in house, and promote within with several candidates like WR coach JaMarcus Shepard or TE coach Nick Sheridan. Some have even floated the idea of Deboer naming himself the new offensive coordinator. But a lot of signs point to the Tide targeting Mizzou OC Kirby Moore who was outstanding last year for the Tigers, and he worked with DeBoer at Fresno State.
