Join Jim and Greg as they share some thoughts on the Super Bowl and dive into two big political stories.
First, they have generally positive reviews of the Super Bowl, other than the fact that the game seemed to last forever. They were pleased there was no officiating controversy that played a huge role in deciding the game like there was last year and we didn't seem to be inundated with too much woke indoctrination in the ads.
Then, they wince as Wisconsin Rep. Mike Gallagher surprisingly announces he will retire from Congress at the end of this year. While clearly disagreeing with Gallagher's decision to vote against impeaching Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas, Gallagher is a very reliable conservative vote and is doing good work exposing the threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses to the United States.
Finally, they hammer President Biden's low-energy, mumbling nonsense about how he is fed up with "shrinkflation" and companies charging the same amoutn for less product. Not only does he pretend this isn't directly related to his inflationary policies but Jim points out that this exposes his own false narrative about the supposed success of "Bidenomics."
