Alastair Humphreys has walked across India, cycled from England to Capetown, spent six weeks on the frozen Arctic Ocean, canoed 500 miles down the Yukon and so much more. But it is only since he stopped doing all of that that he has been recognised by National Geographic, because one day, as he was cycling around the world, you know, as you do, he had an epiphany.
