USA Today Tries to Name and Shame FFLs Over "Crime Guns"
USA Today has published a list of some 1,300 firearm retailers that part of the ATF's "Demand 2" program because they've sold at least 25 guns traced by the agency in the past year that were purchased within the last 36 months. While the ATF says being on the list isn't evidence of wrongdoing, and the paper notes the large number of big box retailers and high-volume sellers on the list, gun control advocates will still use the story to advance their false narrative about gun stores turning a blind eye to or even facilitating gun trafficking.
