Anarchapulco Family Camp: Unschooling, Raising Kids in Mexico and Dealing With Family Issues and Traumas
Do you want to know the secret to raising anti-authoritarian, anti-system, HAPPY, humanistic, and respectful persons?
It starts by being an anti-authoritarian, anti-system, HAPPY, humanistic, respectful person… and parent.
In today’s video, my 17-year-old unschooled super daughter and I… and Lucy of course… visit Anarchapulco Family Camp to chat with parents from Mexico, Spain, Commifornia, Kanada, London about unschooling, raising kids in Mexico, and dealing with being an anarcho-family.
The first rule of unschooling: Remove your kids from the government indoctrination camps, right now! The 2nd rule of unschooling: Tell everyone why!
And, if you’re struggling with expressing the “why”, I recommend watching Jones Plantation and then signing up for Larken Rose’ Candles in the Dark seminar on how to talk to statists and explain your point of view.
In The Controlled Demolition of the American Empire I co-wrote with Charlie Robinson, we get real about government education.
“Let’s get honest about the education system in the United States, starting with the “3 R’s” that every kid is taught in school: Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic.
Notice anything unusual about the “3 R’s”?
Well if a student was in a school that teaches the Common Core curriculum and they correctly pointed out that two of the words do not actually begin with the letter “R”, they would only get credit if they were able to show all 117 steps that it took to reach that answer.”
Education is about control. If you want to create a society of slaves to the system, keep the sheep stupid and fat so they will be too slow to run away, and too dumb to figure out where to run to when the government comes to shear them. This strategy is so obvious and pervasive that it is crucial to put up a fight against its existence, because,
So, if you don’t want your kids to have a teacher with blue hair ordering them to respect the delusion of boys and girls identifying as gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender, genderqueer, two-spirit, third gender, cats, or a combination of these, I would seriously consider raising your kids outside the system.
Mexico is a good place to do this. It has a very strong sense of community, it’s easy to integrate and very social, and because of the bonded family atmosphere and inherent lawlessness, Mexico can be an incredible place for kids.
Raising children outside of the system is probably the best thing you will ever do for them. But it can be hard to know where to start. So here are my two cents’ worth of advice:
Doing this work is the hardest thing you will ever do in your life. It’s a deep dive into yourself and your past, but once you ‘get’ it, your life and your family’s lives will change dramatically and you will create a connection and bond that will endure even after they leave the safety nest.
If you don’t want your children to be set up as sheep, watch today’s video and grab onto this moment in time when the universe is pushing people to do the right thing by getting their kids out of the prison indoctrination system.
