PRINCIPLE OF OCCUPYING TILL CHRIST RETURNS.
As we move towards the next emphasis of the Spirit of the Lord, particularly during this time of renewal, we may encounter several obstacles and traps. It is crucial that we do not compromise our sense of priesthood due to wrong ways of thinking, especially when it comes to how we interact with the new kingdom environment that we have been brought into.
We should be aware that offense is a powerful weapon that the enemy uses to frustrate, hinder, and prevent us from moving toward God's intended purpose for our lives. As we look ahead to the advancement of God's plans for our day, we must be mindful of the state of our hearts and how we receive and process the things of God.
Many people have become vulnerable to negative influences from the enemy because they have not properly developed their spiritual state. They are unable to regulate their spiritual interactions and are easily offended.
Offense reflects how we perceive ourselves in relation to life, people, and God. If we want to grow in our faith, we must deal with this spirit. On our path toward the place that God has ordained for us, we will encounter many things that could potentially offend us. As Saints, we must learn how to navigate these challenges and stay true to our faith.
The term “offended” is an adjective that describes a state of feeling resentful or annoyed, typically as a result of a perceived insult1. It can also mean feeling or expressing hurt, indignation, or irritation because of a perceived wrong or insult2. In other words, when someone is offended, they feel upset and angry, often because someone has been rude or shown a lack of respect.
