Surveillance footage plays a vital role in modern criminal investigations, with many cases relying heavily on video evidence. Despite this, there are still several high-profile murder cases that have yet to be solved even after investigators have obtained and shared video footage of a key suspect.
For example, in the case of Rachel Morin, investigators had DNA evidence linking a suspect to a home invasion in Los Angeles, as well as doorbell video showing the suspect leaving the scene of the crime.
Despite the availability of this video footage and widespread distribution of flyers detailing the crimes, six months have passed without any witnesses coming forward to identify the suspect responsible for Morin's murder.
