Following his acclaimed work on "Gomorrah" and "Pinocchio," this is the first film to be directed by Garrone to receive an Oscar nomination for Best International Feature Film (representing Italy). Garrone was kind enough to spend a few minutes talking with us about his experience making the film, which is now playing in limited release from Cohen Media Group and is up for your consideration at this year's Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film.
