94. Building a Team, Dismantling a Team and Client Appreciation Events.

In this episode, Chris interviews Geordan Keys and discusses his professional journey from working as a physical therapy tech after college in 2015 to obtaining his real estate license and ultimately diving full-time into his business. Geordan shares his experiences of being part of a real estate team, valuing the collaboration and family feel, but eventually deciding to go solo for better profit focus and business growth.

 

Chris and Geordan reflect on the evolution of business strategies, noting the shift from reliance on phone calls to pay-per-click and sphere methods, with a surprising success story about a voicemail leading to a valuable client. Following this, Geordan discusses an upcoming spring training event for past clients and others in his database, highlighting the importance of client appreciation events.

 

As a new father to a four-month-old, Geordan touches on balancing his time between business and family, suggesting incorporating family time into work, such as having children watch their parents work for better immersion and understanding.
