“All around you, people will be tiptoeing through life, just to arrive at death safely. But dear children, do not tiptoe. Run, hop, skip, or dance, just don't tiptoe.”
Shane Claiborne
One of my favorite sayings about life: “They slap you when you come into the world and throw dirt on you when you leave.” None of us make it out of this thing alive.
While it’s a good idea to not be a fool going through life doing stupid things, getting stupid prizes- we just can’t go through life timid and afraid. That’s no way to live.
Life here on earth is a one way trip to the grave. So while we are alive, we need to live. Live boldly, passionately and confidently. Feel the fear and go for it anyway.
Chase your dreams. Embrace your adventures. Notice the beauty. Savor the love. Welcome each day as on opportunity. Yes! Run, hop, skip, or dance. Just don’t tiptoe.
I’m Horace McMillon. And this is “60 Seconds of Hope.” Peace be with you.
