10@9 Would You Disbelieve God - March 1, 2024

This morning we explore an inconceivable lesson of our rabbis in the Midrash, which I heard from Rabbi Meilech Biderman, that Moshe did not "believe" God that the Jewish People had made a Golden Calf. The rabbis, conceding the difficulty of this, show us what Moshe means to teach us, a message that can drastically reduce Machlokes, aggravation, and recrimination from our lives. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
