Over the next few decades, it grew to represent the social diversity of India, impart critical information to the masses, define cultural norms and cater to every group and region without vested interests. Today, Doordarshan provides television, digital and mobile services across India as well as overseas.
We’ll look at technological breakthroughs that connected the country and paved the way for today’s media landscape, and revisit some events and characters that will elicit nostalgia for a simpler time!
