New Orleans Saints Post-Combine Mock Draft: Perfect Round 1 EDGE

The New Orleans Saints look to be better set at offensive tackle than we thought, making pass rusher the top need in the NFL Draft, and Laiatu Latu is the perfect fit. He checks the prototype boxes while adding polish, experience, production and athleticism to the position. If Ryan Ramczyk and Trevor Penning are going to start at tackle come training camp like it sounds, adding depth to those positions should be important, but finding your next pass rusher opposite Carl Granderson is a must.

New Orleans can also add some playmakers on offense earlier in the draft this way, leading off with the NFL's proposed "next Deebo Samuel". An explosive multi-dimensional running back and red zone threat tight end need not be far down the Saints' wish list either.
