Episode 53 - USMC Veteran Interview: Apocalypse Now-Zad
Our favorite episodes are always the ones where we get to talk to Veterans of the military. On this episode we sit down with a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan war from 2008-2009. Vincenzo Chambrone served in the United States Marine Corps as an 0351 Infantry Assaultman with 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines. We let him tell his story, but we take a deep focus on his time in the Now-Zad District of Helmand Province in Afghanistan. Vincenzo was involved in the 4-day battle of Dahaneh also referred to as Operation Eastern Resolve II.
