In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs talked about natural health remedies and the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals our bodies need to maintain good health. A great way to de-stress is through slow deep breathing, he suggested. This practice can immediately reduce anxiety as well as improve your immune system and lower your blood pressure, he added. Fuchs was critical of the amount of added sugar in various foods, which he said takes a toll on the body's blood sugar system. If one does consume a sugary food, he advised drinking water afterward, which can dilute the blood sugar.
Insulin resistance, he explained, can occur when a person swings from high to low blood sugar, and the hormonal protection system becomes unbalanced. Fuchs associated this condition as a precursor to many chronic illnesses, especially type 2 diabetes. To combat peripheral neuropathy (often related to diabetes), he recommended two supplements-- alpha lipoic acid and thiamine. He also highlighted the importance of connective tissue, which can deteriorate as the body ages. To counteract this, supplements such as glucosamine, and bone broth can be helpful, he said.

After the death of a close friend, Holly Faust set out to get answers about the afterlife. In the latter half, she discussed her ability to communicate beyond the veil, and her investigations at various haunted sites. In regards to what dark entities are, she believes some are very evil beings that want to cause harm and mayhem, while others have been here a lot longer than we have and we don't entirely understand them. Faust described her near-death experience after a car accident, and how it connected to her later career in the paranormal and spiritual search. During the NDE, she conversed with a tiny older man with pearly white hair. She had never met him before, but he consoled her and told her she had to come back to her body. Upon her return, she heard a "horrible wrenching sound," which she later learned was the jaws of life cutting her out of her vehicle.
During her investigation at the St. Albans Sanatorium in Virginia, she was literally knocked to the ground by something that appeared to her as a shadowy dark thing. This may have been the entity that reportedly creeps or crawls down the wall, she noted. Faust recounted an odd occurrence at Gettysburg, where both she and her son saw someone dressed in Civil War garb with a floppy hat that others did not witness. That description matched closely with a photo of an apparition taken on the battlefield, thought to be a soldier from the Texas regiment. She recalled her acquaintance with the renowned paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren, who helpfully counseled her when Faust's son started experiencing "the gift" and seeing apparitions. Faust thinks of herself as a "storyteller for the other side...I'm open and willing to communicate either for them or about them."
During the last half-hour, George featured a replay of an interview with Barbara Lamb on alien encounters from 6/28/21.
