Office Of Rural Prosperity Has Resources To Strengthen Your Town
If you’ve gone through one Wisconsin small town, you have not seen them all. And that’s because each rural Wisconsin community has something unique to bring to the table. The state is working to help strengthen those qualities to keep our rural economies strong. The Office for Rural Prosperity was developed four years ago to help connect rural communities to state resources. The office is also a listening ear for rural Wisconsin. Director Beth Haskovec has recently been on a listening session tour across the state. She outlines what she’s heard from rural economic development organizations and how the office is helping them accomplish their goals. She reminds community leaders that at ruralwi.com, you can find resources available to help strengthen your town. You can also contact the office if you need help applying for grant money.
