(00:00-24:06) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the big road win last night for the Indiana Pacers over the Oklahoma City Thunder. They also touch on some of the college basketball games from last night in conference tournaments and examine the things that the Indiana State Sycamores need to go its way in order to make the NCAA Tournament.
(24:06-40:40) – The Athletic’s James Boyd joins Query & Company to weigh in on the Colts bringing back the majority of their guys, accesses which areas he thinks Chris Ballard still needs to address, states that he doesn’t believe the Colts won’t be able to trade up to select Marvin Harrison Jr., and believes that Indianapolis will supplement Anthony Richardson in the draft and add talent to the defense in free agency.
(40:40-43:54) – Hour one concludes with Jake sharing a story about him and his buddies starting to become friends of a sports team. He lays out the guidelines for Eddie and Jimmy to try and guess later.
(43:54-1:06:43) – Pat Boylan from the Indiana Pacers Radio Network and Bally Sports Indiana joins the program for the first time to share why the Pacers defense has been better in the last two games, explains the importance of Myles Turner as a scorer without Bennedict Mathurin, accesses if this is a young Pacers team or actually a veteran Pacers team when you look at the key players on the roster, and tries to make sense as to how the Pacers have struggled this season on the second night of a back-to-back.
(1:06:43-1:22:11) – Big Ten Network’s Dave Revsine joins Query & Company to weigh in on if he’s surprised we are talking about Indiana and Ohio State as two teams that other teams in the conference don’t want to play right now, agrees with Jake and Jimmy that Indiana has to win the tournament to get into the NCAA Tournament, examines the NCAA Tournament chances for other teams in the conference, and previews all the coverage the Big Ten Network will have during the tournament.
(1:22:11-1:26:04) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake allowing Jimmy and Eddie to guess which team he and his friends are starting to become fans of.
(1:26:04-1:39:30) – Jake reveals which team it is that he and his buddies are starting to become friends of. After that, Jake and Jimmy revisit the discussion about the tournament chances for Indiana State. Additionally, they examine what the Indiana Hoosiers need to do in order to make it into the NCAA Tournament.
(1:39:30-2:02:20) – Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. joins the show fresh off of signing his brand-new contract with the Indianapolis Colts. He reveals what the process was like for him, takes us through last season for him with Anthony Richardson and Gardner Minshew, shares where he wants to see his game take another leap, and the importance of the continuity from the coaching staff down to the roster.
