In this episode, we’re exploring the new James Durbin CD “Screaming Steel”. Durbin is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Santa Cruz, California. Metal heads associate his name with his appearance on Season 10 of American Idol (2011), where appeared with Judas Priest for rousing renditions of "Livin' After Midnight" and "Breaking the Law" and also appeared with legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde. This was followed by Durbin’s debut album, 2011’s “Memories Of A Beautiful Disaster” that blended a mix of hard hitting riffs, vulnerable lyrics, and Durbin’s signature screams.

They also discuss James second heavy metal release, the new “Screaming Steel”, just released in 2024. James’s share’s his metal influences are deep in classic heavy metal with the likes of Dio, Sabbath and Iron Maiden.
