After I recovered and I started to talk about my dark times, every person I talked to had the same response “You? No way! You were the happiest out of all of us!” They didn’t know how much I suffered in silence. I worked very hard to keep that smile on my face, for several reasons; I was embarrassed, i felt weak, i didn’t want to be a burden, I was scared I would end up in a straight jacket. I had no idea what was happening to me and feared things would only get worse if people found out my secret.’
