As I think of that thing I did, I want to hang my head. I’m covered in shame, guilt, and ick!
I can’t believe I did it. I wish I could take it back. But I can’t.
This resonate with you? Can you remember a time when you really struggled with shame? You felt so ashamed of something you did?
That feeling of regret is absolutely the definition of torment to me!
Sometimes, this shame actually keeps us repeating the thing we did cause we won’t seek help. We don’t want anyone to know about it, so we just suffer in silence.
I get that you don't feel worthy of being forgiven. But isn't that the point? There aren't some people or sins that deserve to be forgiven over others. They are equal.
Those memories don't have to haunt you though. You don't have to continue in this torment. But, it will always be your choice to forgive yourself or not.
I'm in the middle of a series talking about different symptoms that come from self-hatred on my podcast.
Today’s episode is all about forgiving ourselves for those ‘unforgivable sins.’
You can always set up a 1-1 prophetic healing session to compliment your self-study. The self-study Video Course that can help you forgive yourself is "The Journey of Healing from Injustices."
