Mark Rutledge is Texan through and through. Raised on a ranch in south Texas he grew up wanting to take over the family farm. But Mark's dad had other plans. Mark was encouraged to attend A&M University under a Track and Field scholarship as a pole vaulter. He graduated and went on to seek his Masters. Mark is still active coaching track and pole vaulting but keeps busy as the credit office president in Austin with Capital Farm Credit and as the President of the Driftwood Historical Conservation Society. He shares with Steve and Michelle his vision for the future of the small country community of Driftwood just outside of Austin.
