EP 47: Our Secret Weapon To Fight Climate Change and Save The Planet
We take a deep dive into the state of our oceans and the planet with award-winning photographers Cristina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen.
Paul and ‘Mitty’ are incredible storytellers who have traveled to the far reaches of the globe and below our oceans to capture amazing imagery. They are also the co-founders of SeaLegacy—an organization using the power of media and storytelling to amplify ocean solutions.
In this edition, they discuss what they are seeing through their lenses—the impact of climate change on the environment, their recent work and what we can all do to help. Mitty also breaks down how our planet depends on the ocean and why whales are our best friends in saving the planet. She explains how they help take CO2 out of the atmosphere through what they poop.
