In this episode…People tend to buy things from people they know, like and trust. Generally, they have to get to know you before they can decide whether they like you. And when they like you, that's when they start to trust you. It is in that order for a very specific reason.
However, many marketers want people to trust them right out of the gate by pulling out their credit card, which a lot of people may not yet be ready. They don't know you enough, especially in today's world where everyone is an expert. So by initiating relationships with people by cultivating a very casual atmosphere and sounding like you genuinely want to help, you stand a high chance of building a mutually beneficial relationship.
Rich Goldstein, host of the Innovations & Breakthroughs podcast, is joined by Ely Delaney from Your Marketing University. Ely shares the email script he uses in his marketing and follow-up work, the benefits of automatic marketing, and why pitching should be avoided early on. Stay tuned.
