Magdalena Sabatino is an artist, holistic counselor and creative guide. After
many years of searching, she has finally arrived at the sweet spot, where
two of her biggest passions for creativity and healing meet, unite, and
constantly enrich each other.
As a young woman, she had an insatiable thirst for understanding why we
are the way we are, which propelled her onto an educational journey in
human psychology and personal growth. It started in Warsaw, Poland,
where she entered her Master’s degree in Psychology and ended in
Newport, Rhode Island, where she earned her Master’s degree in Holistic
Counseling from Salve Regina University.
As an artist, she follows her intuitive urges and tries to focus more on the
creative experience rather than the final product. Her art practice is also
her meditative and spiritual practice, during which she attempts to connect
to something bigger than herself. As she lets go of control, takes risks on
canvas, and trusts the creative process, her pieces emerge into what they
wish to become. Usually, into whimsical, colorful, intuitive, and abstract
images inspired by nature and feminine energy.
As a counselor, she guides her clients back to their holistic wellness. She
helps them understand that they are multidimensional beings with layers of
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects to themselves. The
foundation of her work is healing the wounded inner child and assisting her
clients in recognizing how this wounding affected their lives. She believes
that wholeness is not cutting off a portion of one’s being, but it is the
integration of all aspects of oneself, even the broken, imperfect ones, that
creates a true, whole human being.
It is her absolute pleasure to gather people together for transformative
experiences. She enjoys creating workshops and retreats during which
participants have a chance to reconnect with their creativity and heal their
wounded parts along the way. She is in the process of creating her first
online course “Emotional processing through art journaling”.
