This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas finally get put on trial for all their misdeeds to the art of podcasting over the last few years, and their fates are put in the hands of... 12 ANGRY MEN.
Now that our crime wave is in the books, in our BREAKING THE LAW, BREAKING THE LAW arc, we are moving on to our second part of the season – the Courtroom. We've got four courtroom films in store, and we're kicking off with one of the best – Sidney Lumet's 1957 courtroom drama starring Henry Fonda.
We follow the origins of this film from a teleplay to the big screen, dig up our own experiences with jury duty, and get a little too hot under the collars for our own good at the state of our world. The film is called 12 Angry Men, so how could we not get a little indignant.
“It takes a great deal of courage to stand alone, even if you believe in something very strongly.”
