The Smell of Cut Grass

This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our host Jonathan Foster is joined by writer/director and PCC Staff Member Levi Eddie Aluede, as we discuss Levi's upcoming strand at the Prince Charles Cinema, the QUEER COMMUNAL CINEMA season, and their short film, THE SMELL OF CUT GRASS.

In this sort of old school episode, we explore how Levi got into film, found the Prince Charles Cinema, their filmmaking career and how they came to programme this exciting season of queer films. The season includes, Pablo Larraín's EMA (2019), Mona Fastvold's THE WORLD TO COME (2020), and a 35mm performance of Ang Lee's Academy Award-winning BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN (2005).
