Mike Costa’s work on cobra started with GI Joe issue 0, spinning off into GI Joe Cobra 1-4, followed by Volume 2 1-13 the conclusion of which led into the Cobra civil war and 21 issues of volume 3, nine issues of GI Joe Cobra Files and concluding with 5 issues of Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra. The initial run, with co-writer Christos Gabe and Artist Antonio Fuso was collected as Cobra: The Last Laugh in a hard to find hardcover from IDW- and represents the most significant GI Joe storytelling since the early Marvel run from Larry Hama
