A beautiful but long-disused public toilet in Rathmines to be repurposed
An old set of Victorian toilets hidden under a waterfall in a Dublin park could be getting a new lease of life. The public bathrooms in Palmerston Park are one of dozens of so-called “public conveniences” built since the 18-hundreds that have since closed. Emma Tyrrell has been speaking to locals about the old toilets and their potential future use.
