In October 2009, Michael Dixon embarked on a week-long visit to New York City to catch up with friends before continuing his journey to Costa Rica. However, shortly after arriving in Costa Rica, the 33-year-old British journalist disappeared under mysterious circumstances, vanishing one night after leaving his hotel.
The investigation into Dixon's disappearance has yielded scarce evidence, leaving his family to suspect foul play while Costa Rican authorities have suggested the possibility of an accident. Some speculate whether the authorities might have suppressed the case to safeguard the country's tourism reputation. Yet, the question remains: what truly happened to Michael Dixon?
