Did you grow up in a different country, city, or area than your parents’ original birthplace? Have you ever felt different to others, not as connected to others around you, your community, or your relatives, as you feel you should be? In this episode, our British Born Chinese host, Mr. Bolo introduces a new term: Third Culture Kid. As an (Adult) Third Culture Kid (ATCK) himself, he’s been learning about what it means, including the challenges and benefits, and other circumstances that revolve around this new-found community.
