(00:00-25:28) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing Eddie’s trip to Seattle. Additionally, they continue discussing the impact that Caitlin Clark will have on basketball, community, and the WNBA. Additionally, they react to the news that Jontay Porter has been banned from the NBA for life after an investigation took place where his betting props were the most profitable bet on some random nights during the NBA.
(25:28-43:49) – Ryan Ruocco joins Query & Company to discuss the impact Caitlin Clark is going to have on the WNBA and Indiana Fever, assess Jake’s take that she can be one of the rare WNBA players where people follow her instead of a team, and elaborates on what the WNBA needs to gain more interest league wide. Additionally, Ryan revealed how he feels about the Indiana Pacers, previews the first round series between Indiana and Milwaukee, and previews the game he has tonight between the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls.
(43:49-46:55) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy discussing the play-in tournament format with the Lakers punching their ticket as the seven seed.
(46:55-1:13:32) – Pacers point guard, T.J. McConnell, joins Query & Company ahead of the team’s playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks to discuss his career year that started with him not receiving minutes to being an important piece to the team’s success. Additionally, he discusses the thoughts going into all the handshakes that he’s created with his teammates, if it is beneficial for players to have playoff experience, his growing relationship the last dozen games with Obi Toppin, and shares his level of excitement seeing Caitlin Clark joining the organization.
(1:13:32-1:29:44) – Following their conversation with T.J. McConnell and Eddie sharing his Pete Rose story, he presents Jake and Jimmy with their gifts he got them from Seattle. They then discuss tonight’s play-in games between the 76ers/Heat and Hawks/Bulls.
(1:29:44-1:37:14) – Jake and Jimmy close out the second hour of the show by discussing why the younger generation of NBA fans are picking LeBron James over Michael Jordan. Jake provides a point that most people should account for.
(1:37:14-2:06:07) – Alex Golden from Setting the Pace joins the program to weigh in on what to expect from the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs when it comes to the rotation, states that he still wants to see the T.J. McConnell and Obi Toppin minutes remain close to the same because of how much they impact the game, assesses if Tyrese Haliburton is out of his slump ahead of the playoffs, believes that the coaching staff trusts Ben Sheppard enough to play him if Aaron Nesmith or Andrew Nembhard get in foul trouble, and tries to predict when Giannis will return for Milwaukee.
