We have to hold each other up.
Not even Moses could do it all on his own.
“And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
But Moses hands were heavy; So they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady” - from Exodus 17
We love to tell the stories of individuals overcoming the most difficult circumstances and achieving the things no one thought they could.
Too often we forget tell the parts of the story where they were tired and had to sit down. We forget to tell the parts where all was nearly lost because they couldn’t do it on their own any longer.
Aaron and Hur held Moses up and the victory was achieved. We have to find ways to hold each other up. Because every one gets tired.
Be that someone for someone else. Surround yourself with people who will be that for you.
Peace be with you.
