Episode 190: Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021)

This week at The Film Club we conclude Hollywood Epics Month with a modern day epic, Zack Synder’s Justice League! The film follows the events that occur after the recent death of Superman, his death awakens Mother Boxes that have been hidden across the universe for a millennia. The strength of the Mother Boxes combined would create a duplicate version of Earth ruled by the evil Darkseid who originally tried invading earth a millennia ago with his Parademons but failed miserably when the Olympian Gods, Amazons, Atlanteans, Humans, and Extraterrestrials unified to save humanity. Disgraced Steppenwolf Lieutenant of Darkseid vows to retrieve the boxes to get back in Darkseids good graces. When Steppenwolf obtains the first box from the Amazons, the Amazons send a signal to Diana Prince that the universe is in danger. Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne begin working together to build a team to save the universe and with the small in numbers team they’re able to pull together they all know they need the Man of Steel to comeback from the dead to save the day once again.
