We conclude a month of discussing Japanese films with a look at Toshio Matsumoto’s 1971 film Demons aka Shura.  The story of the film is part of the fabric of the larger 47 Ronin narrative and is the story of a ronin who is cheated by a geisha and how he carves a bloody path for revenge.
