We live and work in a busy world in which there is little time to read, watch or listen
beyond the headlines.

Hello, my name is Iain Campbell-McKenna, and this is “Procurement in 5-minutes.”
That’s right, in 5-minutes I promise to tackle some of the biggest challenges and
deepest questions our profession and industry face on a day-to-day basis.

In today’s special extended procurement in 5 minutes, I’m delighted to be joined by
Fraser Hill, the General Manager of Digital & Process Transformation and Supply Chains at Shell, to answer the question.

How do we solve the change and engage the problem in digitalization?
Fraser has been working in digital initiatives for over a decade and one of the main
areas of resistance he has seen over his career is change efforts fail due to employee
resistance. When employees resist digital transformation, it's often because employees are not comfortable with new processes and technologies, fearing job insecurity or increased workload with the adoption of new digital tools. This makes him the ideal person to answer the question: How do we solve the change and engage the problem in digitalization?
